We do not give out, sell or trade our mailing list data with external organizations. We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018.

Heart in Brain Studios, Inc collects personal data that you may volunteer as part of a workshop, program, private or group session, event, an open studio, art exhibition attendance, making a purchase or visit, and e-newsletter sign-up. Personal information we collect may include:

current visual and holistic art form interests
We will also collect and hold information about any contact you have with us as a visitor, donor or supporter of Heart in Brain Studios, Inc and may include details of:

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All text, images, and ideas found on this site are created with love by Natalia Vásquez, founder of Heart in Brain Studios, Inc. unless otherwise clearly stated. Use of any material from this site is not permitted, unless a written agreement has been signed by all involved parties.

Photogaraphy Licensing: When a photography shoot is booked, a written Licensing, Model Release, and Image Use  Agreement is to be signed by clients on a case-by-case basis.

Artwork Sales: When purchasing an artwork, the creator retains all Intellectual Copyrights unless otherwise agreed on in writing.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

We have a 24 hour cancellation notice prior to start time to cancel a service or event. Once a service or event is booked, it is non-refundable.

When cancelled 24 hours or more before scheduled time, we are happy to reschedule for another time within 6 months of initial booking.

Credit may be used for or towards a future service or event within 6 months of initial booking.

SECURITY

The transmission of information via the Internet or email is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data while you are transmitting it to our site; any such transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your personal data, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access. We will process, disclose or share your personal data only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or legal process served on us or the Website.

The Website does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. If a parent or guardian believes that the Website has personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 16 in its database, please contact us immediately at natalia@heartinbrain.com and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

The Website uses cookies to store visitors’ preferences, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, ensure that visitors are not repeatedly sent the same banner ads, customize Website content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends. In cases when we use external websites provided by other organizations such as Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo or Facebook, then we would ask you to consult their privacy policies.

When someone visits www.heartinbrain.com, we use Google Analytics to collect statistical data and details of visitor patterns which tell us which parts of our website visitors use most often. None of this information uses, or requires the use, of personal information and is processed in a way that does not identify individuals. We do not make any attempts to find out the identities of individuals visiting our website.

MAILING LIST

We use a third party provider MailChimp to deliver our newsletter. We use MailChimp software to help gather statistics on opening rates and clicks on links which help us monitor and improve our communications. Individuals can unsubscribe at any time from newsletters by clicking the unsubscribe link on each e-newsletter. You can view MailChimp’s privacy notice here.

AFFILIATE PROGRAM PARTICIPATION

The Website may engage in affiliate marketing, which is done by embedding tracking links into the Website. If you click on a link to an affiliate partnership, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track any sales for purposes of commissions.

At the moment, HEART IN BRAIN STUDIOS, INC is not part of any affiliate programs.
